One starter, one sub, one win…
It feels like England have been playing Andorra at least once every year since I was born… While Andorra have improved significantly, England were still expected to score five goals in a comfortable victory. As an English Madrid fan – something far more rare however, was witnessing not one, but two Real Madrid players brandish the three lions on their shirts… Jude Bellingham started the game in midfield, and new signing Trent Alexander-Arnold provide a strong option from the bench.

The game took place in Spain, at Espanyol’s stadium – and England were as dominant as one may expect. The scoreline was not as expected though, as a Harry Kane second half goal was all that actually split the two sides. Jude saw plenty of the ball, including in the opposition penalty area, but his shots caused little damage. Trent was introduced with 25 minutes to go and contributed little. A 1-0 win for England – but the fans weren’t exactly impressed… England will play Senegal in three days for a friendly fixture. Did you watch this match? If so, be sure to share your thoughts.
