According to Mario Cortegana.
Real Madrid manager Xabi Alonso is set to add Tristan Celador to his staff at the club, according to Mario Cortegana of The Athletic.
Real Madrid have had Celador around at the club for the last 20 years, and he certainly has the experience to help players individually.
He was recommended to Alonso by his assistant manager Sebas Parrilla, and it remains to be seen just how much Celador provides on his return to men’s football.
Last season, Celador was working for Real Madrid Femenino, and will now come back to the men’s team.
He is named by Cortegana as an analyst and with a focus on individualised work, Celador could be huge for Real Madrid. If Alonso thinks he is important to have around for the men’s first team, he must be doing something right.
Real Madrid’s new coach is slowly but surely forming his staff, and it will be interesting to see how much it improves the team next season.
