It’s been a while, MM. If you’re wondering where i’ve been. I had to go fight a nasty storm in life. But thank God for the weather change. Life lesson, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. I just learned that one the hard way.
JOAT
In every successful season we’ve had, whether we had the GOAT (Greatest Of All Times) in our XI or not, we’ve always had a JOAT (Jack Of All Trades) there too. That one player that can play anywhere when asked and when played out of position, they do just enough to get us over. As of Now, it’s looking like its none other than VALVERDE. Only thing is that Fede is world class and the JOAT is usually a lesser stature player (Callejon, Vazquez etc) that still contributes immensely. Who do you think the JOAT is for Xabi? because he will need one. I also have Brahim in mind.
CLUB WORLD CUP SAMPLE
I’m happy the tournament is OVER!! because now our players can RESSSSTTTT!!!. Been playing football for over 10 months straight, no breaks. Crazy!!! their bodies need a break before it breaks.
But i’m also glad the club world cup gave us a small sample size on Xabi Alonso’s coaching mechanisms, tactics and mentality. Under his stewardship, we faced the best of the best from ALL OVER THE WORLD! and made it to the Semi’s and only lost out to the current best team in the world, hate to say it, PSG. I actually see the club world cup going on to become a prestigious trophy. I choose to be patient with Xabi.
