Spurs still considering Nico Paz signing

Despite Como’s reluctance to sell, Spurs are still interested in signing Nico Paz this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Spurs wanted to offer 40-50 million euros for Paz earlier this summer, according to widespread reports, but Como quickly rejected the idea of a sale because of two reasons: not wanting to sell in the first place, and if they were to sell, it would be for a bigger amount.

Spurs will try one more time despite their conditions and see if it is possible. Real Madrid will also be involved in the decision-making process because of a number of clauses that are in Paz’s contract.

If a sale is made, Real Madrid will receive 50% of the transfer money, which would make a huge difference if Spurs agree to spend as much as 70-80 million euros on the player.

It remains to be seen what comes of this saga, but since Como are so reluctant to sell the player, there’s doubt that an agreement can be reached.
