Semi-finals edition of the daily merengue
The Daily Merengue is a place where you can feel free to d all things football. Do not be alarmed by the overt RMCF bias. It’s in the name! Shoutout to the mods who do a fantastic job, Valyrian Steel, Kung_Fu_Zizou, Juninho, NeRObutBlanco and yours truly, Felipejack
Who starts in the attack?
Xabi Alonso has a dilemma. He has to choose two between Kylian Mbappé, Vinícius Junior and Gonzalo Garcia in attack against PSG.

It’s a good dilemma to have. I think Gonzalo has earned his spot. He should start. Now, if Xabi should bench Vini to start Mbappe is another question. Let’s see tomorrow what Xabi does.
De la Fuente on GG
What we have to do is give each player their moment. There’s still plenty of time until the next call-up. He’s building up to the belief that he could be a player with a future, but the most important thing is not to rush into things or get carried away by short, immediate performances. He has not even played a single second in La Liga yet.
You have to to earn the chance and the right to occupy a place in a fantastic national team, where there are some wonderful, very high-level players with a fantastic career. You have to earn it, but of course I encourage him. I celebrate his performance, because he’s another player who joins this cause. I hope there are many Gonzalos, many Huijsens, many Cubarsís.
People all over the internet, however, is making point the other players were called-up to Spain NT without this kind of demands.
