Real Madrid Castilla star Gonzalo Garcia has garnered interest from many La Liga clubs, according to a report from The Athletic.
Garcia has had a breakout season in the third division, scoring 25 goals for Castilla, as he has now matched the record for most goals in a season for the team.
He came on for the first team in the second half of the game against Sevilla on Sunday, and assisted Jude Bellingham’s goal, which solidified Real Madrid’s win.
“Practically half” of La Liga has eyes on the Spanish striker, and rightfully so — he has been carrying Castilla on his back for the entire season.
If he sticks around for longer than this season, it would be an overstay, as he has proved that he is ready for the next level of professional football.
The report does not mention which teams are interested, but it is all but confirmed that Garcia would have a lot to think about over the summer.
