According to MARCA.
Real Madrid and attacker Brahim Diaz have reached an agreement which will see Diaz signing a multi-year contract extension with the club, according to a report published on MARCA. Brahim’s current contract was set to expire in the summer of 2027 but the two sides found an understanding very quickly and this extension will become official during the summer, per that same report.
Brahim is an important rotation player for Real Madrid, as he’s usually one of the first men off the bench. While it’s true that his role might change after Los Blancos signed Franco Mastantuono, Xabi Alonso values his skill set and believes that he will be a useful asset in the current squad.
The attacker will likely play crucial minutes off the bench during the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup, so it will be interesting to see if Brahim can prove his worth and compete for a spot in the starting lineup down the road.
