Valverde will likely miss two weeks with this injury and will stay at Valdebebas during this upcoming FIFA break. He could potentially be back right after the break, although Real Madrid’s medical staff will likely take a cautious approach with his recovery, meaning that he might come off the bench and play a minor role when Los Blancos face Elche on November 23rd.

The Uruguayan midfielder had experienced some discomfort against Liverpool as well, but was able to face Rayo this Sunday. Assuming everything goes according to plan with his recovery, he should be back soon.
