OFFICIAL: Alaba tears meniscus, to have season-ending surgery

The third season-ending injury for Real Madrid’s defensive line in just one day.

Real Madrid have announced that defender David Alaba has suffered a torn meniscus that will require surgery, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.

After tests carried out on our player David Alaba by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a tear of the internal meniscus in his left knee.
