According to AS.

Liverpool have placed a €50 million price tag on defender Ibrahima Konaté ahead of a potential summer departure, according to a report published by AS. Real Madrid remain highly interested in the French center-back, and multiple reports indicate that Konaté is eager to becoming a madridista. However, Los Blancos are currently offering just €25 million, per the same source.

Real Madrid are looking to reinforce their defensive options following underwhelming performances from Antonio Rüdiger and Raúl Asencio during the FIFA Club World Cup. While Dean Huijsen impressed with his quality and potential, club officials now believe that additional depth will be necessary to navigate what is expected to be a long and demanding season.

In addition, manager Xabi Alonso is reportedly seeking the tactical flexibility to play three center-backs, making Konaté a crucial target if an agreement can be reached with Liverpool. The English club appears motivated to sell this summer to avoid losing the player on a free transfer when his contract expires in 2026.
