According to The Athletic.

Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham is set to undergo shoulder surgery after the Club World Cup, according to a report from Guillermo Rai of The Athletic on Tuesday.

The report says that the Englishman will miss up to three months, and is expected to miss the start of the 2025-26 season.

Bellingham has been having shoulder problems for a few years now, which includes pretty much all through his Real Madrid career so far, particularly after he dislocated it in 2023 against Rayo Vallecano.

He has not been able to get the surgery done during the year because of how much he has had to play. Bellingham will finally get some rest after the Club World Cup, and he will miss the first few weeks.

Bellingham will undergo the surgery at the same medical clinic that Ferland Mendy and Antonio Rudiger got their surgeries recently.

Xabi Alonso will still work with him in the World Cup, but the team would have to do without him for at least a few weeks.
