According to The Athletic.

Real Madrid forward Endrick has suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury that could keep him out for the next few weeks, according to a report from Guillermo Rai of The Athletic.

Endrick did not play a single minute for Real Madrid in the Club World Cup, where they got knockout out by favorites PSG in the semi-finals.

Endrick was recovering in Madrid for most of the tournament, until Xabi Alonso decided to bring him to the USA to be closer to the team.

The Brazilian striker looked like he was entering the final stages of recovery, as he took part in training with the rest of the squad in the United States on Monday.

However, now Endrick has suffered a setback which could keep him out for several weeks.

It is not good news for the Brazilian as he now has more competition in the squad in the form of Gonzalo Garcia, and he needs to make the most of his time at Real Madrid if he wants to keep moving closer to his goal.
