El Clasico
Sorry, but I don’t feel especially excited for this El Clasico. It has been a lot of nightmares in the previous 3 games against Barcelona. In any case, can a win today impact Barcelona form in the upcoming 3 games?
It looks like the team will be: Courtois, LV, Tchou, Asencio, Fran, Valverde, Ceballos, Arda, Jude, Mbappe and Vini.
Is Saliba the best?
Real Madrid believe that William Saliba is the BEST center-back in the world.

I understand the club idea of not overspending, but we need a CB. If they think Saliba is the best CB out there, they should try to sign him this year.
New Tactics
Juninho was spot on in the last open thread. It’s been 4 years of Ancelotti, with a lot of suffering and success. It will be interesting to see a different view of football with Alonso, even if it might definitely be too early for reports of the following:

Other reports say he’ll bring 3 professionals from his staff: his assistant, his physical coach and the physical coach assistant. The sooner his starts, the better, and Romano reported the club is confident he is arriving for the CWC.
