Real Madrid returned to training and completed the first session led by Xabi Alonso as head coach of the first team. The Madrid players are preparing for their participation in the Club World Cup, in which they will make their debut on Wednesday, June 18, against Al Hilal, at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami (21:00; 15:00 local time; Dazn).
Militão, Courtois, Carvajal, Alaba and Brahim completed part of the session with the group. The day began with physical work on the pitch. Afterwards, the players carried out demanding and varied exercises focused on possession, control, ball distribution, and pressing in midfield and across the full field.
The training at Ciudad Real Madrid concluded with several running drills. Rüdiger, Mendy, Endrick, and Camavinga continue their recovery processes, while Valverde worked inside the facilities.
Real Madrid will travel to the United States this Saturday, so they will log in some more work at Valdebebas this week.
