Why does Perez react only when we lose?
I’m excited for this coming season and for the potential of Xabiball. Still there’s a lingering feeling of why there was no reaction when it was apparent there were big holes and players were dropping like flies. Why weren’t signings made for a coach that prefers to rely on signings and is allergic to using the youth system? Did they think any signings would be wasted with Carlo at the head? Why isn’t Xabi asked to make do with the resources we have? Happy to see the direction this transfer window is taking but still can’t shake off the feeling off loss from this past season. Carlo has been discussed at death and it’s clear his ideas don’t work anymore. It’s time to ask Flo and Co some tough questions.
Season not even over and already getting Xabi, TAA, Dean, and looking at Carreras — I’d say that’s a very appropriate and needed reaction from the board.
