Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde named Toni Kroos ‘undoubtedly’ his idol when asked about the player who pushed him the most at Real Madrid, during his work with The Residency. He said: “Toni Kroos was undoubtedly my idol. But having the best players in the team, I always learned from everyone. And Real Madrid always have them.”
He was asked about Kylian Mbappé and his adaptation to life at Real Madrid, to which he gave a very honest answer, calling the Frenchman a very nice person on and off the pitch.
He said: “Kylian Mbappé is one of the best players in the world. Like any player, he needed to adapt, and he did that very well from the first day. We are very happy with him, and he’s also a very nice person.”
He also talked about the upcoming Clasico on Sunday, and whether he thinks he will score a goal in that game.
He said: “Hopefully. I know that many times people expect me to shoot more, but I always try to look out for the team and the most viable options we have.”
