Real Madrid monitoring Chema Andrés’ performances with Stuttgart -report

Real Madrid are paying close attention to Chema Andrés’ performances with Stuttgart and could be interested in triggering their €10 million buyback option next summer, according to a report published on AS. Andrés has performed at a very high level so far this season and Real Madrid believe that he could be the ideal backup for defensive midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, so they will keep monitoring his performances before making a final decision.

Real Madrid still own 50% of Chema Andrés’ rights, so reaching an agreement with Stuttgart would not be an issue. Los Blancos will also be expected to bring Nico Paz back next summer, so it seems that the club will be adding some depth at a very affordable price.

In the meantime, Real Madrid will likely use Eduardo Camavinga as Tchouameni’s replacement in the spot right ahead of the defense whenever the defensive midfielder needs to rest or miss some games.
