Mbappé scored a hat-trick as Real Madrid beat Kairat Almaty 5-0, and it was enough to warrant him the award for this Champions League match week.
Real Madrid returned to winning ways after their 5-2 loss to Atletico Madrid, and Mbappé played a significant role, scoring their first goal and then adding two more to secure the victory.
There were quite a few brilliant performances over the course of the week in Europe’s premier competition, but Mbappé was deemed to be the best performer.
Real Madrid face Juventus next in the Champions League in a couple of weeks, and the club would hope for a similar performance from the Frenchman.
Mbappé will shift his focus to La Liga as Real Madrid host Villarreal in a crucial battle on Saturday evening.
