Real Madrid are happy and satisfied with the way defender Eder Militao has returned to top-level football, reports Guillermo Rai of The Athletic on Friday.
Militao is an absolute floor raiser for this team, and the club realises that. They are happy with the way he has been performing this season, and would hope this continues in the long run as well.
Militao was also seen talking to manager Xabi Alonso for a while before the start of the team’s final training session on Friday, before facing Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
Real Madrid were in a defensive crisis last season, with multiple players being out due to injury and a general lack of depth in that department.
After signing Dean Huijsen and recovering Militao, they now find themselves to be adequate in the defensive area, and it is something that the club would hope to sustain in the long run.
