He said goodbye to the club.
Real Madrid prospect Chema Andres, after enjoying a good season with Castilla, is now leaving the club to join Stuttgart this summer.
The move was made official on Sunday, and shortly after, Chema released a statement thanking the club for the support as he embarks on this new journey.
Here is his full statement:
“After 7 years, it’s time to say goodbye to what has been my home, and my life all this time.
I arrived as a child wanting to learn and play football, and today I’m leaving as a totally different person, full of memories, lessons and, above all, people who have marked my path.
To all those who have been there day after day… thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for making every training, every game and every moment worthwhile.
It is not easy to close this stage. I have lived things that I will never forget, and I leave with my head held high, knowing that I have given everything for this badge.
Thank you so much. I will always carry this club in my heart.
Hala Madrid!”

The clubs announced the deal on Sunday afternoon, and now Chema will play in the Bundesliga, which is obviously a big step up from the third division of Spain.
He has the talent to succeed anywhere, and hopefully, he will be able to improve significantly as a player during his time in Germany.
Real Madrid retain a buy-back clause to maintain control over the player’s future, should they wish to intervene.
